Jakarta Provincial Government fully supports the renovation of Budhi Asih Regional Hospital in Cawang, East Jakarta. The renovation aims to improve hospital services. It was stated by Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung during his visit to the hospital, Tuesday (9/16).

The renovation includes the improvement of emergency unit and other important facilities.
"Head of Health Agency and I, as the governor, support the renovation that includes the improvement of emergency unit, cath lab, and so on. Hopefully this will improve the services much," he stated.
Budhi Asih Regional Hospital is a Class B hospital offering superior services for cancer, heart disease, stroke, uronephrology, and maternal and child health (KIA) at the intermediate level. It also offers 24-hour cardiac catheterization and a cath lab, as well as a stroke service that can perform thrombolysis to reduce mortality and disability due to stroke.
During his visit, Pramono also had the opportunity to speak directly with inpatients. He said that the healthcare services provided by Budhi Asih Regional Hospital are quite good.
However, he highlighted the issue of medication availability, which requires time to procure, making it difficult for patients to always have it available. The hospital serves 95 percent of BPJS patients and 5 percent of non-BPJS patients.
"Of the five percent, there are indeed priorities that are currently being developed here, including those for skin, beauty, and so on," he added.
Pramono hopes that through facility improvements, healthcare services at Budhi Asih Regional Hospital will improve and be even better. According to Pramono, the renovations will use funds from the Regional Budget (APBD) and the Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD).
"Regarding the renovation costs, there's a budget from the central government. But I can't really say for sure, because there are two ways to implement these improvements. One is from the regional budget (APBD), and the other is from the Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD). The BLUD is more flexible," he stated.
