The Jakarta government applies a traffic diversion trial specifically at the Fatmawati Intersection - Lebak Bulus segment, from September 15 to 19, 2025. The trial takes place every day from 5 PM to 8 PM.

Traffic diversion aims to reduce congestion and traffic conflicts, especially from Antasari Interchange to Lebak Bulus Intersection.

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Head, Syafrin Liputo said, there are three main steps in this trial. Dishub will open the far-left lane at the Fatmawati 2 Toll Gate, which can be used free of charge by four-wheeled vehicles. This lane will be channeled to the Lebak Bulus toll off-ramp.

According to him, this lane is only for four-wheeled vehicles, while two-wheeled vehicles and vehicles with more than four wheels are not allowed to pass.

"This aims to increase the capacity of the road on the south side of Jalan RA Kartini leading to Lebak Bulus," he expressed, Monday (9/15).

His agency will also close the access from the left lane to the right lane before Poins Square. Traffic that previously used that access to make a U-turn East–East at Lebak Bulus U-turn will be diverted to the Ciputat Raya U-turn in front of FedEx.

The third step is to close the West–West U-turn before the Fatmawati Intersection. Traffic flow will be diverted through the West–West U-turn at the Antasari Interchange.

To parse congestion on Jalan TB Simatupang – Jalan RA Kartini, alternative routes can be used:

1. Traffic flow from the Lebak Bulus off-ramp heading east (Fatmawati) can go through Jalan RA Kartini, turn east at the U-turn in Lebak Bulus, then continue along Jalan RA Kartini

2. Traffic flow from the East (Pondok Labu/Cipete/Fatmawati) intending to turn east-east can still use the Lebak Bulus U-turn

3. Traffic flow from the direction of Jalan Adiaksa heading east (Fatmawati) can pass through Jalan RA Kartini - Lebak Bulus Intersection - Jalan RA Kartini - U-turn in Ciputat Raya (in front of Fedex) - Jalan RA Kartini, etc

4. Traffic flow from the West (Lebak Bulus/Pondok Indah) direction that want to turn around west-west can use the Antasari U-turn

5. Alternative routes for traffic flow from the North (Jalan Pangeran Antasari) and East (Cilandak/Kampung Rambutan) directions heading to Pondok Labu can pass through Desari Toll Road - Off Ramp Andara - Jalan Andara Raya - U-turn North - North at Jalan Sungai - Jalan Andara Raya - Jalan Margasatwa - Jalan Pondok Labu Raya, etc

"So, we call on road users to pay attention to officers' signs and instructions on the field during the trial period," he closed.
