One unit of firetruck was deployed to accelerate the sediment cleaning on a water channel on Jalan Krama Yudha, RT 07/05, Rawa Terate Urban Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta.

Rawa Terate Urban Village Secretary, Daniel Wisnu Parulian admitted the mud thickness has reached 15 centimeters. This condition surely triggers inundation.

"One unit of firetruck with capacity of 10,000 liters was deployed to spray the mud on the channel," he admitted, Tuesday (9/9).

According to her, 15 joint personnel of Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency, PPSU, and residents were deployed.

"I appeal to residents to help maintain the cleanliness of the channels by not throwing rubbish carelessly," he appealed.

Meanwhile, one of local residents, Lukman (35) appreciated the mud cleaning today.

"Hopefully the cleaning will eliminate mud fully to flow the water normally," he stated.
