The Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) together with South Jakarta Administration distributed basic food packages to the Rainbow Troops at local mayor office.

South Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar appreciated South Jakarta DWP for initiating this social program for the personnel of Rainbow Troop.
"We show this concern to those we often meet, but often overlook, namely the Rainbow Troops who have always worked hard," he said, Tuesday (9/9).
Anwar explained that the Rainbow Troops are environmental heroes who selflessly maintain the cleanliness and beauty of the city. Therefore, this activity is not only a form of concern but also a reminder to appreciate and pay more attention to their role.
"I hope this activity will continue more. Let's make this the first step in a sustainable collaboration between the government, community organizations, and all citizens to build a more inclusive, welcoming, and caring city for all levels of society," he invited.
Meanwhile, South Jakarta DWP Chairwoman, Diah Anwar explained there were 1,143 basic food packages distributed today.
"Totally, we provide 1,181 packages. 38 packages were distributed symbolically by the first batch in Setiabudi District Office. Then today we distribute them all," she explained.
Diah stated that South Jakarta is one of the largest recipients number of DWP Peduli food packages due to the Rainbow Troops' involvement in restoring the function of public facilities.
"We would like to thank all parties who have played an active role in providing appreciation to the Rainbow Troops, both the South Jakarta City Government and other parties. Let's continue to maintain unity in South Jakarta," she stated.
