South Jakarta Food Security, Marine and Agriculture Sub-agency has given free anti-rabies vaccination to 1,257 pets.

Sub-agency's Head Section of Animal Husbandry and Health, Irawati Harry Artharini explained the vaccination was given to 1,147 cats, 98 dogs, nine monkeys, and three weasels.
"The vaccination held in August 2025 was implemented in Pasar Minggu, Tebet, Cilandak, and Setiabudi Districts," she said, Tuesday (9/2).
According to her, there were 5,596 pets have been given anti-rabies vaccination in South Jakarta during January to August 2025.
"We have four months remaining to achieve our vaccination target by 10,015 pets," she added.
She hopes this activity will maintain Jakarta as free rabies city, as well as ease pets owner getting free anti-rabies vaccination.
"We provide 300 vaccines quota for each implementation. I hope pets owner can use this program well," she hoped.
