The progress of the water channel construction on Jalan Manunggal, RT 04/04, Rambutan Urban Village, has reached 45 percent.

"Previously, there were no water channels at the location and it often flooded during rain," expressed Ciracas Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Task Force Coordinator, Deby said, Tuesday (9/2).

He explained, seven personnel and one excavator were sent to smoothen the work.

"It has been underway since Thursday and is targeted to be completed this week," he explained.

According to him, the construction was conducted using a U-ditch measuring 40x40 centimeters to effectively anticipate the potential for flooding.

"Hopefully, this will be a solution to the frequent flooding here," he explained.

The work received appreciation from the RT 04/04 Administrator, Rambutan Urban Village.

"Alhamdulillah (thank God), we say thank you. Hopefully, this can solve the flooding in our area," he hoped.
