As many as 41 Jakpreneurs are selling and promoting their products in MSMEs bazaar on Jalan Gotong Royong, RW 04, Dukuh Urban Village, Kramat Jati District, East Jakarta.

East Jakarta Secretary, Eka Darmawan, appreciated the RT/RW caretakers, LMK, and local urban village for their collaboration providing this bazaar.

According to him, besides being able to improve the economy, this activity is also a means of strengthening ties and enlivening the 80th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence.

"The event is very lively, and the residents are very enthusiastic. Sellers are able to introduce their products to the public," he said, Friday (8/22).

Head of RW 04, Dukuh Urban Village, Tri Wulantoro, said the activity is very lively due to the participation of all components of society who worked together, including the Karang Taruna.

"The MSMEs Bazaar, will run until tomorrow. The products on sale are ranging from culinary delights and crafts to fashion," he said.

He continued that in addition to the MSMEs Bazaar, traditional dance performances and Pencak Silat attractions were also held as a form of contribution to preserving local cultural wisdom.

One of the Jakpreneur's sellers who sells Selendang Mayang, Rokayah (36), admitted happy to participate the bazaar.

"I sell and promote Betawi products. It is sold Rp 5,000 for one cup. Thanks God it was almost sold out," she admitted.
