The Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency held a Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) at MH Thamrin Multipurpose Room, Grha Ali Sadikin Building, Jakarta City Hall. The event was attended by around 250 participants representing cooperatives from across Jakarta.

This event featured a speaker from Deputy for Institutional and Cooperative Digitalization at the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, who presented the importance of using ODS Mandiri, an online cooperative data collection system. Although the system is provided by the Ministry, data management authority remains with each regional agencies.

The speaker also highlighted the purpose of the Cooperative Identification Number (NIK), a unique code for identifying active cooperatives. Cooperatives that have conducted their Annual Members' Meeting (RAT) are required to report it via ODS to get a NIK certificate as official proof. The certificate is valid for two years and serves as an indicator of cooperative compliance.

RAT reports must be submitted no later than one month after the meeting, which can be made online iva ODS Mandiri or by sending letters to the Ministry or relevant agencies. Cooperatives that fail to report their RAT for two consecutive years will face strict sanctions, including potential dissolution.

Head of Jakarta PPKUKM Agency, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo, stated that her side has provided Help Desk Koperasi to assist cooperatives facing difficulties. Services include assistance with RAT reporting, cooperative activation for those who have held RAT but haven't reported it, and guidance for self-reporting through ODS.

"The Help Desk also facilitates the issuance of NIK certificates both online and offline," she noted, Thursday (9/21).

Ratu hoped the event would encourage all cooperatives in Jakarta to comply with reporting obligations and make use of available digital systems.

"As well as improving professionalism in cooperative management to support regional economic growth," she added.

The event also addressed the implementation of a new accounting policy. Under the Ministerial Regulation No. 2/2025 from the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, all cooperatives are now required to use a digital system for preparing financial reports.
