The Budhi Asis Regional General Hospital (RSUD) on Jalan Dewi Sartika, Cawang Urban Village, Kramat Jati Sub-district, East Jakarta, launched an innovative pharmacy service called Merdeka Antre Obat. Through this new breakthrough, patients can utilize a medication delivery service.

Budhi Asih RSUD Director, Dyah Eko Judihartanti said, the Merdeka Antre Obat program was launched coinciding with the celebration of Indonesia's 80th Independence Day.

"This service aims to avoid queues for medication pickup. Therefore, it makes it easier for the community to seek treatment," she expressed, Tuesday (8/19).

This service is provided after the patient receives examination services and obtains a prescription from the outpatient clinic.

She added, this service benefits both patients and escorts by eliminating the need to wait long for medication to be provided.

"This is one of the hospital management programs to help the government improve the quality of healthcare services for the Indonesian people," she said.
