West Jakarta Mayor, Uus Kuswanto opened the MSMEs bazaar at Ruko 1000, Cengkareng Barat Urban Village, Cengkareng District. The bazaar is participated by 60 business owners.

"It is extraordinary. This Independence Day celebration is truly felt and enjoyed by everyone . Moreover, this bazaar certainly helps to boost local economy," he said, Friday (8/15).

Uus hopes that, apart from being an agenda to welcome the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day, this activity can also be used as the right momentum to strengthen ties between citizens and strengthen the spirit of nationalism.

"My hope is that all of us and the Indonesian nation will be given success, strength, and resilience to continue to progress to become strong individuals, a strong nation, and be able to maintain the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia," he added.

Meanwhile, Cengkareng District Head, Ahmad Faqih said bazaar held on August 15-17, 2025 is not only to celebrate the independence day, but also to boost local economy.

He added there will also be various interesting activities such as health talk shows and free health checks.

"There are 60 tenants from local businesses participating in the bazaar. They sell and promote a variety of their products, from culinary delights and handicrafts to household necessities," he stated.
