The collapsed retaining wall of Cipinang River in Cibubur Urban Village, Ciracas District, East Jakarta will be repaired.
The repair must be run soon
As the early stage, the ranks of Ciracas District together with Cimanggis District, Depok, West Java, inspected the area today.
Ciracas District Secretary, Abdul Khair said the collapsed retaining wall length reached more than 73 meters.
"Cipinang River is under the jurisdiction of the central government, or BBWSCC. We'll submit proposal for this repair," he said, Tuesday (8/5).
He hopes the repair can be started soon since the location is near with the residential of RW 14, Cibubur Urban Village.
"The repair must be run soon to avoid overflow water inundate the residential during heavy rain," he added.
Meanwhile, Ciracas District's Water Resource Taskforce Coordinator, Deby stated the repair will be run by Jakarta Water Resource Agency.
"We remain in coordination stage to realize the repair," he stated.
