The free anti-rabies vaccination held at RW 02 Secretariat's , Tegal Parang Urban Village, Mampang Prapatan District, South Jakarta was given to 43 cats.

Mampang Prapatan District's Food Security, Marine and Agriculture Unit Head, Erna said the free vaccination is held to maintain Jakarta as a free rabies city.

"This is the third day of vaccination in Tegal Parang Urban Village. Thankfully the residents were enthusiast to bring their pets," she said, Wednesday (7/30).

She said the vaccination targets rabies-transmitter animals namely cats, dogs, weasels, and monkeys.

According to her, similar activity to be held again tomorrow, Thursday (7/31) at Baitul Halim Mosque, RT 05/03, Tegal Parang Urban Village.

Meanwhile, one of residents, Putri thanked the sub-agency for providing free anti-rabies vaccination.

"I brought two cats of mine to get free anti-rabies vaccines," she admitted.
