Jakarta City Council's Commission A held a working meeting with mayors and regents under Jakarta Provincial Government to discuss the Draft Regional Regulation about Amendments to the 2025 Regional Budget.
Everything must be transparent
Commission A Chairman, Inggard Joshua said discussion of budget changes focused on deepening allocations to ensure they are on target and meet community needs.
"Today's meeting is held to evaluate the changes of 2025 Regional Budget. We'll see where the budget is lacking or where the programs aren't working. Everything must be transparent so we can fix it," he said, Tuesday (7/22).
He added that Jakarta currently has a budget surplus of around Rp 3 trillion. He believes this budget should be focused on the interests of the citizens.
"There are many RWs, community hall, and RPTRA that need to be improved. It is the responsibility of the mayor, district and urban village heads to supervise and improve," he added.

stunting. He assessed that this problem is not only about nutrition, but also related to clean and healthy lifestyles which are still low."Public awareness of adopting a healthy lifestyle must be increased. This is the key to reduce stunting rates in Jakarta," he stated.
