North Jakarta Mayor, Hendra Hidayat, opened the Jakarta Great Sale Festival initiated by the North Jakarta Regional Handicrafts Council (Dekranasda) at the 1st floor of the Millennium Atrium, Artha Gading Mall, Kelapa Gading Sub-district.

Hendra appreciated the collaboration between Dekranasda and North Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises Sub-agency (PPKUKM), Artha Gading Mall, and other stakeholders.
"This is a very important moment to revive the community's economic spirit and support local products," he expressed, Friday (7/11).
He hopes that flagship products from North Jakarta could be more well-known, loved, and able to compete at the regional and global levels.
Thereby, all residents were invited to participate and purchase authentic North Jakarta products.
"Many discounts here. Even, the products offered are limited edition or not mass-market, so I invite all of you to buy these products in bulk," he explained.
North Jakarta Dekranasda Chairwoman, Fida Hendra explained, this event is part of the series of celebrations for Jakarta's 498th anniversary, as well as promoting the region's flagship products and supporting the growth of the creative economy in North Jakarta.
"It will last for four days, from July 10 to 13, 2025, involving 18 artisans fostered by Dekranasda in the fields of fashion and crafts, as well as 12 Jakpreneur," he explained.
There would also be a fashion show event showcasing local culture, creativity, and innovation.
"Hopefully, this would bring wide-ranging benefits to business actors in North Jakarta, especially in expanding networks and increasing marketing," he hoped.
One of the entrepreneurs nurtured by North Jakarta Dekranasda with the brand Rhoerhy Craft from Kelapa Gading Timur, Ratu Ayu (30), expressed pride and happiness in being able to promote her products at the event.
"My sales usually increase significantly when I participate in events like this. I sell woven bags, keychains, and Ondel-ondel souvenirs priced from Rp 50,000 to Rp 400,000," she stated.
