As many as 25 personnel of West Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency managed fire that burned a house on Jakan Adam, Masjid Nurul Lathif Alley, RT 03/02, Sukabumi Utara Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk District.

The Sub-agency's Operation Section Head, Syarifudin said the incident was reported at 9:54 AM.

"In the next five minutes, five firetrucks with 25 personnel arrived at the scene," he said, Friday (7/4).

Syarifudin explained that the fire that destroyed the 36 square meter house was completed at 11:03 AM.

"There is no victim caused by the incident which was allegedly caused by an electrical short," he added.

Meanwhile, one of local residents, Baden (41) admitted he saw the house owner looked for help since the thick smoke came from his second floor.

Residents directly helped him, but the fire was too quick to grow bigger.

"Thanks to the Sub-agency for quickly handling the fire," he stated.
