The Bluetaskfore personnel of Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency dredges water channel on Jalan Kebon Pala 3 RT 04, 05 and 07 RW 13, Tanah Abang Urban Village, Central Jakarta.

Tanah Abang District SDA Unit Head, Eli Menawan Sari said the 600 meter-lenght and 50 cm-width channel has been dredged since mid May by five personnel.

"It is targeted to complete today ," she said, Thursday (7/3).

Eli added that the dredging is run to accommodate resident's request since the mud thickness triggers inundation.

Meanwhile, Yatmo (43), one of local residents, appreciated the dredging run by Central Jakarta SDA Sub-agency.

"Hopefully the dredging will eliminate inundation fully," he hoped.
