Jakarta Social Agency has distributed 1,984 physical assistance devices (ABF) in January-June 2025 period.

The distribution was carried out across five administrative cities, consisting of 517 units in Central Jakarta, 460 units in North Jakarta, 350 units in West Jakarta, 338 units in South Jakarta, and 319 units in East Jakarta.
The types of devices provided include hearing aids, adult wheelchairs, children's wheelchairs, walker sticks, and tripod walking canes.
Head of Jakarta Social Agency, Iqbal Akbarudin, stated that ABF distribution is part of efforts to improve the quality of life and independence of persons with disabilities and the elderly.

and supports, especially for Jakarta residents with special needs, to help them remain active in their daily lives," he conveyed, on Thursday (7/3).For information, the Jakarta Social Agency has also collaborated with various parties for ABF distribution, such as Jakarta Baznas Bazis, which contributed 10 units each of children's wheelchairs, adult wheelchairs, blind sensory canes, and tripod walking canes.
In addition, the international organization WAFCAI (Wheelchairs and Friendship Center of Asia Indonesia) also provided 11 wheelchairs, while the Peduli Tuna Daksa Foundation donated two prosthetic legs for people with physical disabilities.
Residents who wish to apply for ABF assistance are required to submit photocopies of their ID card (KTP), family card (KK), certificate of inability (SKTM) or PM1, and a full-body photo of the applicant. These should be submitted to the local Social Sub-agency Office, and a survey will then be conducted by the Sub-district Social Unit.
