Jakarta Provincial Government and Jakarta City Council agreed the report on the results of the Budget Agency's discussion on the Draft Regional Regulation on Accountability for the Implementation of the 2024 Regional Budget (P2APBD).

This agreement was stated in the Plenary Meeting of the Jakarta City Council (DPRD) on Friday (6/20). The leadership of the Jakarta City Council and the Jakarta Vice Governor, Rano Karno, signed the results of this plenary meeting.

Jakarta Vice Governor, Rano, appreciated the leadership and member of city council for evaluating the P2APBD 2024 with full sincerity, thoroughness and responsibility.

Rano added that P2APBD 2024 is part of Jakarta Provincial Government's commitment in implementing Regional Regulation Number 6/2023 about the 2024 Fiscal Year Regional Budget that has been amended by Regional Regulation Number 6/2024 about changes to the 2024 Fiscal Year Regional Budget.

"I express my appreciation to the leaders and members of the City Council who have evaluated the 2024 P2APBD with full sincerity, thoroughness and responsibility," Rano said.

Rano also acknowledged the role and efforts of all levels of the regional work unit (SKPD) in implementing the APBD during 2024.

Then, during the process of finalizing the 2024 fiscal year P2APBD Draft Regional Regulation, all SKPDs and related ranks have followed all stages.

Rano added that his side will take note to the City Council's evaluation and recommendation. The notes will be a step to improve the implementation of transparent, clean and accountable regional government and finance.

"I hope that this synergy will continue to be improved intensively and professionally as part of a joint effort to build Jakart a into a modern, inclusive and sustainable global city," Rano added.

Meanwhile, Jakarta City Council Vice Chairwoman, Ima Mahdiah, explained after being approved, the 2024 P2APBD Draft Regional Regulation will be submitted to the governor for follow-up in accordance with applicable laws by considering suggestions from the legislature.

"We have provided input, suggestions, evaluations and recommendations for the 2024 P2APBD. These notes are an effort to improve the quality of public services, programs and budgeting of the Jakarta Province," she stated.
