Central Jakarta Mayor, Tuesday (6/17), launched the Supra Madusela City Urban Farming on Jalan Mangga Besar Raya, Mangga Dua Selatan Urban Village, Sawah Besar.

Arifin said the land as width as 110 meter square was unkempt, thus it is arranged into an urban farming area by cooperating with PT Supra Jaya Dua Ribu Satu's CSR.

"Thanks God the collaboration has made the area is useful for urban farming," he said.

Arifin admitted his side continues to intensify the urban farming program in synergy with various parties to realize Jakarta as a global city.

Meanwhile, Sawah Besar District Vice Head, Andre Ravnic, explained the urban farming management will be given to RW 10 of Mangga Dua Selatan caretaker.

"Hopefully this collaboration will lead into good food security program," he stated.
