The Jakarta City Council held a bazaar as a form of support for MSMEs that have been instrumental in driving the capital's economy.
It will run for three days
The bazaar taking place on Monday (6/16) is part of the series of celebrations for Jakarta's 498th anniversary.
"This is held to provide space for them (MSMEs) that have made significant contributions to building the city's economy. They are the spearhead of the government in driving the economy in the capital," expressed Jakarta City Council Chairman, Khoirudin.
This is an initiative from the Family Council Association (IKD). Besides bringing MSMEs closer to the City Council, it also aims to expand market reach and increase the turnover of business actors.
"It will run for three days. Hope it can serve as a bridge between MSMEs and the community, while also boosting their income. In the future, they are also expected to become more familiar with the concil members," he stated.
