The West Jakarta residents be delighted with the free training of Agricultural Product Processing Diversification held by West Jakarta Food Security, Marine and Agriculture (KPKP) Sub-agency at Kembangan Agricultural Extension Center.
We were given cooking equipment
One of participants living in Kembangan District, Ridawati, admitted happy to participate the training held on June 11-12, 2025 since it gained her cooking knowledge.
"The instructor is very competent. We were given cooking equipment such as chopper, single-burner gas stove, and three-kilogram LPG gas cylinder," she said, Thursday (6/12).
West Jakarta Food Security, Marine and Agriculture Sub-agency Head, Novy C Palit, explained the training aims to improve skills and creativity in diversifying agricultural product processing for residents and household-scale business.
"We focus on improving their skills and creativity according to their business products," she explained.
She added that Chef Olivia from Baking Course as an instructor taught how to make four types of processed agricultural products such as mango pudding, green chili sauce, potato nuggets, and
klappertaart ."Thank to the committee and speakers who made this event a success. Hopefully this activity can reach more communities especially MSMEs in West Jakarta," she hoped.
