Ciracas District Water Resource Taskforce Coordinator, Deby said the six meters long and 2.5 meters high of the Cipinang River retaining wall collapsed due to being eroded by high water discharge. "We install dolken and sandbangs to avoid another landslide," she said, Wednesday (6/11).

According to her, permanent retaining wall will be constructed in August.

"The landslide location is near with resident's houses. So we need to accelerate the handling," she added.

Usman (41), local resident, appreciated the officers for handling the retaining wall to avoid another landslide.

"Hopefully the permanent retaining wall can be constructdled soon," he hoped.
