As many as 3,504 job vacancies prepared during a job fair held at Tanjung Duren Sports Hall, Grogol Petamburan District and Kebon Jeruk Sports Hall, Kebon Jeruk District, West Jakarta. The event is held on June 3-4, 2025.

West Jakarta Vice Mayor, Yuli Hartono said the job fairs are the second agenda held by West Jakarta Administration this year. The event is also part of Jakarta Governor's 100-day work programs.

"There are 41 private companies, three governmental agencies, and six Jakpreneur MSMEs," he said, Tuesday (6/3).

Yuli explained that the job fair does not only focus on formal workforce recruitment, but is also part of a comprehensive approach to improve community skills.

"We remain run our efforts to solve jobless . It includes the job training," he added.

According to him, the jobless rate in West Jakarta is declining to 6.18 percent in 2024 from 6.39 percent in 2023.

Meanwhile, one of jobseekers, Rahma said the job fair eases the residents for getting a job.

"I just graduated from school. I need to help my family, so I must get a job," she admitted.
