ntally friendly mobilization changes.Jakarta Environment Agency Head, Asep Kuswanto said the campaign is in line with Jakarta Governor's Call Number 6/2025 on the Use of Public Mass Transportation for Jakarta Civil Servants every Wednesday.
According to him, the #GerakLebihBersih campaign is a concrete step in promoting more environmentally friendly and sustainable behaviors due to the high levels of PM 2.5 emissions resulting from daily mobility that is still not clean.
"By getting used to using public transportation, walking, or cycling for Jakarta residents or commuters who are active in Jakarta," he expressed, Monday (6/2).
He explained this campaign will last for 14 days, from June 7 to 20, 2025. Residents who want to participate in this challenge can register via the website udarakitabersih.id using their personal email.
Afterward, participants are asked to fill out a daily form containing data on the type of vehicle used, type of fuel, distance traveled, and to upload a photo or screenshot of the distance traveled on maps.
"Those who use bike or walk can also participate. Make sure the save timeline feature on maps is active as proof of the journey, so that the PM 2.5 estimate from mobility activities during the campaign can be calculated," he explained.
Then winners will be divided into four categories: the Most Interactive Low Emission Fighter, awarded to the participant with the lowest PM 2.5 emission footprint and the highest frequency over 14 days; and the Most Interactive Public Transport User for participants who consistently use public transportation in their daily activities.
Aside that, the Most Consistent Zero-Emission category is awarded to participants who consistently apply a zero-emission lifestyle during the challenge of completely avoiding motor vehicles. Lastly, the Active Green Movement civil servant category is given to civil servant participants who consistently submit after receiving instructions from the Governor regarding the use of mass public transportation.
He invites all Jakarta residents, commuters, and employees under Jakarta Government to participate in the campaign, thus this challenge can be a first step to encourage habits towards the use of low-emission transportation.
"More and more residents are contributing to achieving cleaner and healthier air quality for Jakarta," he closed.
