The Central Drug and Food Supervisory Agency (BBPOM) in Jakarta held a competency enhancement activity for Jak Officers in Jakarta last Wednesday.
We encourage the improvement of field officers' competencies
There were 600 participants taking part in this competition online, consisting of Jakpreneur assistants, AJIB (Motor Vehicle Permit Pickup) officers, and CRO (Customer Relations Officer).
BBPOM's Information and Communication Chair, Evi Citraprianti explained, the activity was packaged in an online forum titled "Selayar Jakarta (Sharing Education on Drugs and Food Through the Screen for Jakarta People)" Batch 4.
"We encourage the improvement of field officers' competencies so they can educate and support MSMEs effectively," she expressed, Thursday (5/29).
According to her, those participants were given material on the procedures and requirements for distribution permits, as well as labeling for food commodities, natural medicine, and cosmetics for MSMEs.
This activity also educated participants about collaborative-based service innovations, such as Jaw@ra.
Hopefully, the support of Jak Officer would ensure that MSME products in Jakarta are safe and of high quality. Thus, they could compete and stand alongside other imported products in the market.
"Hopefully, this will strengthen the network of information and public services that directly impacts the growth of MSMEs in Jakarta," she hoped.
