Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung instructed Jakarta Water Resources Agency Head to prepare anticipation efforts of the extreme weather impacts.
Pramono said that Jakarta Provincial Government always uses data from BMKG and BPBD to anticipate flood.
"I already instructed Jakarta Water Resources Agency Head to prepare," he said, Friday (5/23).
Pramono wants flood handling infrastructures such as water pumps to be prepared well. Moreover, Jakarta Provincial Government is dredging the rivers. One of the rivers is Cakung Lama.
"The river has been dredged many times since it is our priority," Pramono added.
Pramono continued that land procurement and Ciliwung River normalization will be run in June.
"Hopefully we can start the land procurement and Ciliwung River dredging in June," he stated.
