People in Jakarta may need to prepare their umbrellas on Thursday (5/22) as the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has forecast rain in some areas of the capital city.

"Cloudy and rain in the morning," stated BMKG's official site.

At noon, cloudy is expected in Seribu Islands; light rain in Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and North Jakarta.

In the afternoon, Seribu Islands will be cloudy; and other areas will see rain with low intensity.

Entering evening, all areas of Jakarta will be cloudy.

Today's temperature ranges from 24 to 30 degrees Celsius with air humidity between 74 to 98 percent.
