The Jakarta Government has officially launched three flagship health programs to provide optimal health services for the residents of Jakarta, one of which is the Pasukan Putih Troops.

The Pasukan Putih Troops health program is a proactive health service specifically aimed at elderly residents and those with severe/total dependency (who cannot carry out basic activities independently).

This program is the realization of the 100-day work program of Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, and his deputy, Rano Karno.

Jakarta Health Agency (Dinkes) Head, Ani Ruspitawati explained the Pasukan Putih Troops work using a home service method, providing healthcare services by directly visiting the homes of residents in need.

"This service aims to present quick access for residents who are ill but have disabilities or the poor to get healthcare facilities," she expressed, Tuesday (5/20).

She explained the service demonstrates the Jakarta Government's commitment to provide inclusive and proactive health services, ensuring that all residents, especially those with disabilities, receive the attention, and care they need.

"Hopefully, this can improve accessibility and expand the reach of healthcare services for residents in need of special care, especially those with mobility limitations," she uttered.

As information, the Pasukan Putih Troops service has been provided to residents in several urban villages, namely Cikoko, Pancoran, Jagakarsa, and Cipedak.

To get the service, several requirements must be met:

• Must be 18 years or older

• Must have severe or total dependence based on the Daily Living Score assessment with a score of 0-8

• Having a Jakarta ID card and reside in Jakarta

• Having a family member/permanent companion who assists at home
