As many as five museums in Jakarta managed by Jakarta Cultural Agency were flocked by visitors during the trial of Night at the Museum program held on Saturday and Sunday, May 10-11, 2025.

Thousands of visitors flocked five museums

This innovation opens opportunities for teh public to explore museum at night where the operating hours extended to 10 PM.

Jakarta Cultural Agency Head, Mochammad Miftahulloh Tamary appreciated the visitors during the trial.

"Thousands of visitors flocked five museums during the program trial," he said, Wednesday (5/14).

Miftah added this program presented different experience in enjoying the museum. Visitors were invited to feel the Jakarta's history, art, and culture atmosphere with intimate and captivating perspective at night.

"This also shows the public's interest in cultural heritage. The success of this trial is a positive signal for the Jakarta Cultural Agency to consider implementing similar programs periodically," he added.

Sejarah Jakarta Museum

- Saturday, May 10: 2,257 visitors

- Suday, May 11: 4,132 visitors

Seni Rupa & Keramik Museum

- Saturday, May 10: 802 visitors

- Sunday, May 11: 1,484 visitors

Wayang Museum

- Saturday, May 10: 2,461 visitors

- Sunday, May 11: 4,764 visitors

Bahari Museum

- Saturday, May 10: 133 visitors

- Sunday, May 11: 235 visitors

Betawi Museum

- Saturday, May 10: 324 visitors

- Sunday, May 11: 455 visitors
