Pancoran District Community Health Center Head, Sri Lenita explained the Pink Troop consists of a midwife and a driver who are personnel from the Integrated Pancoran Car (Moci) program. Their tasks are providing health services to women who have just given birth.

"Moci is our innovation program to provide pick-up and drop-off services and visits to residents' homes 3 days after giving birth," she explained, Wednesday (5/14).

She added that the pink troops provide services in the form of maternal health checks according to regulations and education related to good immunization schedules for infant health.

"Hopefully the service will continue to be used by residents. It means the health and development of mothers and neonates or newborns up to 28 days old can be monitored," she added.

One of the Pancoran residents who had just given birth, Khairunnisa (34), admitted she was happy with the service provided by the pink troops. The service helped to take care of her health and baby.

"The program helps us much especially after giving birth. It should be widened," she admitted.
