South Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency managed to prune 856 prone to fall and broken trees during April 2025.

South Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency Head, Djauhar Arifien said the pruning was run by Green Taskforce personnel.

"The pruning was run both manually or assisted by wheelchair units. The pruning aims to avoid unwated things happened to road users," he said, Monday (5/5).

He explained that light pruning was applied to 85 trees, medium pruning was applied to 574 trees, and heavy pruning was applied to 185 trees. Then 12 trees were cut down fully.

Hopefully the pruned trees will not easily fall due to heavy rain accompanied with stong wind.

"We appeal the residents to report to our office or via JAKI application if there are prone to fall trees," he stated.
