As many as 210 East Jakarta Satpol PP personnel are deployed to assist securing Good Friday services in 20 churches in 10 districts. The security has been running from Thursday (4/17) and up to tonight.

East Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Budhy Novian said Satpol PP personnel secure the services by joining with other personnel of Police and Army.

"We want to assist in ensuring Christians carrying out Good Friday worship solemnly," he said, Friday (4/18).

He added that Satpol PP personnel are deployed in Santo Antonius Church in Bidara Cina Urban Village and GPIB Jemaat Koinonia Church in Balimester Urban Village.

"Satpol PP personnel also manage the traffic to prevent congestion," he stated.
