The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) is urging Jakartans to prepare themselves with umbrellas and rain coats as it predicts that rain will pour over Jakarta on Thursday (4/17) from morning until evening.

As quoted from the official BMKG website, the weather across all areas of Jakarta is expected to be cloudy in the morning. However, by the noon, rain with light to heavy intensity will pour down on almost the entire capital city.

Rain is predicted to continue until the evening.

Today's temperature ranges from 23 to 31 degrees Celsius, with humidity between 68 to 99 percent.
