South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency Head, Syamsul Huda admitted his side received incident report through emergency call at 12:15 AM.

"The we directly deployed 20 firetrucks with 60 personnel," he admitted.

According to him, the fire was successfully extinguished after two hours. The incident was allegedly caused by electrical short.

"There is no victim caused by the incident," he added.

One of the local residents, Didin (48), appreciated the personnel for quick respond and handling the fire.

"Luckily the fire did not burn the lower floor or other buildings," he stated.
