Jakarta City Council Vice Chairwoman, Alia Noorayu Laksono supports the Jakarta Government to increase the capacity of Satpol PP and Satlinmas (Community Protection Unit Agency) to protect residents.

"We support for the sake of public order and safety," she expressed, Thursday (3/27).

She urged the Jakarta Government to expedite the construction of Satpol PP posts at sub-district level. Thus far, they have made maximum efforts in enforcing the bylaw.

She also asked urban village and sub-district heads to participate in enforcing and upholding the bylaw in Jakarta.

"Including the regulation of illegal advertisements that violate bylaws," she continued.

Aside that, she also wanted the Jakarta Government to improve the capacity of Satlinmas in terms of facilities and training.

"Surely, we also support it," she closed.
