Jakarta City Council Commissiin A Member, Ahmad Moetaba says the grand harvest held by the Jakarta Government during Ramadan is a good sign for maintaining food price stability ahead of the Idulfitri celebrations.

"This is the first harvest for the Governor and its partner, and it falls in Ramadan. May this be a good sign," he expressed, Wednesday (3/19).

He also ensured that this harvest greatly helped meet the food needs of Jakarta residents, especially ahead of Idulfitri celebration.

"This can help supply meet the high demand, especially ahead of Idulfitri," he explained.

According to him, urban farming is a strategic step taken by the Jakarta Government to achieve food self-sufficiency.

"This also serves as a strategic step to maintain the stability of food prices in order to achieve self-sufficiency," he added.
