North Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency (Parekraf) Head, Shinta Nindyawati said monitoring was done to ensure safety and comfort for tourists or visitors.

"PIK and Ancol have high potential for tourist visits during the Idulfitri holiday. That's why, we want to ensure that the management has prepared safe and comfortable facilities," she expressed, Tuesday (3/18).

This monitoring involved 25 joint officers of North Jakarta Parekraf Sub-agency, Satpol PP, Transportation Sub-agency, Fire and Rescue Sub-agency, and BPBD.

"All parties must synergize to ensure the safety and comfort of visitors, whether in the PIK tourist area or Ancol. Thus, visitors feel happy and safe during their vacation," she explained.

In PIK area, monitoring was focused on the Pantjoran, Cove, Bye The Sea, Batavia, and Riverwalk areas, including, restaurant areas, public spaces, parking, places of worship to shop houses and office houses.

"We received information that the management will prepare a Police Security Post for 14 days, along with the availability of ambulances and healthcare personnel," she explained.

Then in Ancol area, the management would provide spots in the beach area for visitor evacuation when it rains, Police Security Posts at three points, and Health Posts.

"Ancol will also optimize internal security personnel and lifeguards," she explained.

The entrance gates to Ancol are available at several points in the west, east, and south, along with the implementation of central parking. Additionally, tourists are also provided with 87 Wara Wiri buses.

"Hopefully, this beach and recreation area is safe and clean, and the staff are prompt in providing services to visitors," she hoped.
