Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung launched the Kebayoran Park Mall & Hotel on Jalan Ciledug Raya, Ulujami, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, Tuesday (3/11). The launching marks the opening of a new shopping and accommodation center. It is expected to boost local economic growth and provide benefit for the surrounding society.

During his speech, Pramono appreciated the investment made by the private sector for developing the Kebayoran Park Mall & Hotel. Amidst uncertain global economic condition, Pramono emphasized the importance of private sector's contribution in developing Jakarta's economic.

"What Mr. Oli and Mrs. Rita and their friends are doing is making an extraordinary contribution for Jakarta development in the middle of difficult economic situation," Pramono said.

Pramono added Jakarta Provincial Government is open to investment and will provide support to business actors. Pramono hopes Kebayoran Park Mall & Hotel to develop itself and contribute to the surrounding residents.

"Jakarta is contributing around 16.71 percent to the national economy currently. This momentum must be maintained well," he added.

Kebayoran Park Mall & Hotel Director, Tetty Wijaya explained the 12 floors shopping center and hotel has entertainment, parking lot, and accommodation facilities. The management also committed to innovate and provide the best service for the society.

"We continue to innovate that this building must remain a lifestyle-based building. Better building appearance and well organized to provide services for the society," he stated.

Tetty admitted his side has collaborated with various parties such as government agencies, schools, and MSMEs to provide wider benefits.

"The collaboration is held to provide facilities of permits for paying motor vehicle tax, resolving traffic violations, Population and Civil Registration services, and so on," he admitted.
