PT MRT Jakarta and PT Sarinah, agreed to collaborate in promoting an urban lifestyle and seamless experience.

This agreement was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) by PT MRT Jakarta's Business Development Director, Farchad Mahfud, and PT Sarinah Commercial Director, Selfie Dewiyanti, at Sarinah Building, Central Jakarta.

PT MRT Jakarta's Business Development Director, Farchad Mahfud said MRT Jakarta supported the integration of public transportation with the Sarinah shopping center, to encourage tourism in Jakarta as a Global City. As planned, this exploration of cooperation would last for the next year.

"A new business collaboration that will be explored with Sarinah is especially in providing urban lifestyle services and a seamless experience, particularly for Jakartans," he expressed, Tuesday (3/11).

PT Sarinah President Director, Fetty Kwartati explained this collaboration is a tangible step by Sarinah in providing a more comfortable and seamless experience for tourists.

She assessed, memorable travel experiences depend not only on the destination itself but also on the accessibility and supporting services.

In the future, Sarinah will create a Rumah Turis (Tourist House), an epicenter or center of activities for tourists visiting Jakarta, which will include a souvenirs center and a center for the activation of Indonesian culture.

"We aim to create a more integrated travel experience for tourists, especially hotel guests, and to make Sarinah and Rumah Turis as preferred shopping destinations accessible by public transport," she added.

She added the spirit of collaboration to advance the city of Jakarta encourages MRT Jakarta and Sarinah to prepare several strategic plans such as joint marketing inviting residents and MRT customers to visit Sarinah using MRT Jakarta; business cooperation for various promotions of tenants, venues, and Sarinah Department Store through the MyMRTJ app.

"Hopefully, this collaboration can enhance public satisfaction when using the integrated public transportation system as a daily mode of transport," she hoped.
