Ten PPSU personnel were deployed to dredge the channels on Jalan Pangeran Antasari, RT 06/09 and Jalan Bukit Kemang, RT 03/10, Cipete Utara, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

Cipete Utara Urban Village Head, Supriyanto said it is a follow-up to monitoring at points prone to flooding due to blockages of garbage and mud.

"We clean the channel which is partly covered by the concrete plate," he expressed, Friday (11/15).

Hopefully, it could be completed by the end of this week. "It aims to minimize flooding when it rains," he explained.

The work received appreciation from one of the residents, Azhari (46).

"We also help personnel deal with waste in the water channels by doing community service every weekend," he closed.
