The Seribu Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency beautifies the embankment on the southern side of Karya Island, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Seribu Islands. The 50-meter embankment is painted in various colors on the outside and inside.

Seribu Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Mustajab said the work conducted is part of routine maintenance activities. This embankment is painted white, blue, and yellow.

"We paint it in various colors to make it look beautiful and attractive. At the same time, it emphasizes the boundary line of Karya Island when seen from a distance," he expressed, Tuesday (11/5).

He went on to say that the work started on Friday (10/29) involved ten personnel.

"As of today, the progress is around 50 percent. Our target is to complete it by mid-November," he asserted.

The work received appreciation from Panggang Island Urban Village RW 01 Resident, Agus Komarudin.

"Hopefully, it can also attract more tourists to come and visit," he closed.
