The Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) proposed a budget by Rp 7.6 trillion for 2025 in a discussion meeting on the draft KUA-PPAS 2025 with Jakarta DPRD Commission B.
Jakarta Dishub Agency Head, Syafrin Liputo said the amount of the application had been adjusted after receiving an additional Rp 1 trillion.
"Based on the letter from the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK), an additional Rp 1,044,079,885,690 was received, thus the total draft of the KUA-PPAS 2025 became Rp 7,617,053,936,755," he expressed, at City Council Building, Thursday (10/24) night.
He explained there are four main targets that the Dishub will achieve in 2025. Among them are programs to support provincial government affairs, traffic and road transportation management programs, shipping management programs, and railway management programs.
"Dishub has also prepared a strategy to handle traffic congestion problems which will be conducted with two strategies, namely push strategy and pull strategy," he explained.
He added the push strategy was conducted by implementing traffic policies, electronic control, traffic control, and applying parking incentives and disincentives.
"The pull strategy consists of improving public transportation facilities and infrastructure, developing transportation networks, improving safety, and improving integration," he added.
Jakarta DPRD Commission B Chairperson, Nova Harivan Paloh uttered Commission B had given its recommendations to each Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) that attended the discussion meeting.
"For all friends to give recommendations. That means, tomorrow we just have to enter our recommendations from the commission," he explained.
According to him, one of the things that Commission E was concerned about in this meeting was the increase in transportation subsidies.
"There is also information about the construction of MRT Jakarta and LRT Jakarta," he stated.
