The construction of a water channel at Gang Haji Gering, Jalan Pinang Bahari, RT 03/09, Pondok Labu Urban Village, Cilandak Sub-district, South Jakarta has been completed.

Cilandak Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Head, Yansori stated it is done to follow up on residents' aspirations.

"We build this new channel using a U-ditch measuring 40x60 centimeters with a length of 41 meters," he expressed, Tuesday (10/22).

He explained the work involved ten personnel with supporting equipment.

"It has been started since October 9, 2024," he explained.

He hoped that it could prevent inundation and flooding in the local area.

"Thank God, it has been completed and the work is in accordance with the specified target," he explained.

The work received appreciation from one of the residents, Musawir (48).

"I appreciate it, the work is very neat and fast, so it doesn't interfere too much with residents' daily activities," he stated.
