The Monas Bus Stop construction affected by Phase 2A CP202 MRT Jakarta towards Kota has been completed and fully operational on Sunday (9/29).
To improve customer comfort, PT Transjakarta has modified route 14A which serves Monas - Jakarta International Stadium (JIS).
PT Transjakarta's Public Relations Department and CSR Head, Ayu Wardhani said that through this modification, the route 14A (Monas - Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) would be connected with other Transjakarta services.
She explained this modification makes it easier for customers who want to transfer to Transjakarta routes, both corridor and non-corridor, that pass through Monas Bus Stop.
"So, customers from JIS can transfer at Monas Bus Stop to use other Transjakarta services, and vice versa. We continue to be committed to presenting a public transportation system that facilitates customer mobility," she expressed, Monday (9/30).
She explained the Monas Bus Stop also comes with improvements to customer comfort aspects. The bus stop, which currently has a maximum customer capacity of 2,447 people, has also added 18 dock gates for boarding and dropping off passengers, up from the previous six gates.
"With a higher capacity, it is expected to increase customer comfort when getting on and off the bus at the bus stop. We also hope that more customers will switch to using public transportation, especially Transjakarta," she explained.
