Thousands of residents in Grogol Petamburan Sub-district, West Jakarta, welcomed the cheap staple food sales activity initiated by the Jakarta Provincial Government.

"I'm very happy

The sale of cheap staple food in the yard of the Grogol Petamburan Sub-district Office felt even more special for residents with the presence of Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono.

One of the residents from Wijaya Kusuma Urban Village, Slamet Sukari (55) said he was very helped by the sale of cheap staple food packages consisting of five kilograms of rice, two liters of cooking oil, one kilogram of granulated sugar, and one kilogram of wheat flour for Rp 100,000.

"I'm very happy. The sale of cheap staple food is very useful because it can help reduce the burden on the economy," he expressed, Friday (9/20).

The same statement also came from another resident, RT 05/01, Tanjung Duren Utara Urban Village, Indah Kusuma (47). The selling price of staple food was much cheaper than the market price.

"My husband works as an AC repairman and I'm just a housewife. The sale of these cheap staple food packages means a lot to me because it helps reduce my expenses. Thank you, Jakarta Government," he uttered.

As for the information, there are 3,000 packages provided in this cheap staple food sale.
