The Jakarta Goods and Services Procurement Services Agency (BPPBJ), received a study visit from a delegation from the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kingdom of Cambodia in the Executive Lounge of the Technical Floor Service Building, Jalan Abdul Muis, Petojo Selatan Urban Village, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (5/29).

They want to learn how the Jakarta Government promotes local entrepreneurs from small ones

Jakarta BPPBJ Head, Dudi Gardesi Asikin said the 17-member delegation was led by the Advisor to the Prime Minister Royal Government Delegate in Charger of Director General in the Ministry of Economy and Finance for Cambodia, H.E. Mr. Chhim Sareth.

"Today's visit is more of a comparative study from the Director General of the Ministry of Finance of Cambodia who wants to study our digital procurement," he expressed.

He explained the Ministry of Finance of the Kingdom of Cambodia is currently still technically carrying out manual filing in goods procurement activities.

Therefore, they would study the procurement process implemented by the Jakarta Provincial Government to later develop it in their country.

He went on to say that the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kingdom of Cambodia preferred to hold a study visit to Jakarta, as it was deemed successful in building a digital procurement system that protects MSMEs and domestic products.

"They want to learn how the Jakarta Government promotes local entrepreneurs from small ones to be accessible to all groups through digitalization," he added.

PPKUKM Agency's Industry Section Head, Martiana Debora Paruhum explained that the Jakpreuner program is economic empowerment for MSMEs.

Besides providing guidance, they encourage MSMEs in the food and drink sector to follow the e-order procurement system so they can access procurement in all Jakarta Government activities.

"So, the Jakarta Government provides food and beverage activities through e-orders to coached SMEs," he closed.
