As many as 171 pets in Kuningan Barat Urban Village, Mampang Prapatan Sub-district, South Jakarta received free anti rabies vaccine during mobile service held on May 21-22, 2024.

Mampang Prapatan Sub-district Food Tenacity, Maritime and Agriculture Implementer Unit Head, Achmad Basuki, said the mobile services were held at RW 04 and 05 of Kuningan Barat Urban Village.
"This vaccination aims to ensure the health of owners and their pets from rabies," he said, Thursday (5/23).
Basuki detailed one monkey, 35 dogs, and 135 cats received anti rabies vaccine.
"All pet comply with the provisions or procedures, such as not being pregnant and in sufficient age," he added.
According to him, this free mobile service in South Jakarta will still be continued up to reaching target 10,000 pets.
"This free rabies vaccination is the government's effort to maintain Jakarta as a city with rabies-free status," he continued.
Meanwhile, one of pet owners, Gracia (23), thanked the government for holding this free anti rabies vaccine mobile service. She stated this service is effective in assisting pet owners.
"I have more than three cats. I'm glad with this free service," she stated.
