The Central Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-agency (KPKP), vaccinated 43 pets, Tuesday (4/22).
Its vaccination was held at the Citizens' Interaction Park, Jalan Kalibaru Timur, Gg 7, RT 03/07, Bungur Urban Village, Senen.
Senen Sub-district KPKP Executing Unit Head, Supono stated the 43 pets vaccinated were 28 dogs and 15 cats.
"This vaccination is free of charge. It has been ongoing since morning to afternoon," he expressed.
He explained the same activity would also be held from tomorrow until Thursday (4/25) in Kenari Urban Village, precisely at RW 09 Post and Kenari Urban Village Office.
"Animals vaccinated must be at least four months old, not pregnant, and in good health," he expressed.
Animal Husbandry and Health Section Head, Herawati explained the vaccination at RW 07 Bungur Urban Village is the first activity after the Idul Fitri holidays.
"Previously, we also did the same in Senen, Paseban, and Kwitang urban villages. Since January, as manybas 916 pets had received anti rabies vaccination," he closed.
