To smoothen the mudik flow and returning flow, the Grogol Bus Terminal, West Jakarta, has set up three mudik posts to serve travelers.
Grogol Bus Terminal Head, Bona Siregar said the three posts were a pillar security post, a West Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency post, and a healthcare post located in the terminal operational building.
"To make passenger safety and comfort, we provide two passenger waiting tents," he expressed, Thursday (4/4).
According to him, as many as 40 joint personnel consisting of Satpol PP, TNI/police, West Jakarta Health Sub-agency, and Scout members were also alerted to maintain security and order.
The favorite destination cities for travelers departing from Grogol Terminal were Wonogiri, Cilacap, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and Purwokerto.
"Currently or on D-7, the mudik flow situation is still insignificant. Predictably, mudik traffic will be heavy on April 7, 8, and 9, 2024," he stated.
