The Pademangan Sub-district Jakarta Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) confiscated 168 bottles of liquor in a series of raid in North Jakarta during Ramadan 1445 Hijri.
Pademangan Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Asromadian stated the 168 bottles of liquor were seized in mid-Ramadan month.
"This is our routine agenda by dispatching 25 personnel," he expressed, Thursday (3/28).
He explained alcohol from various brands was found from grocery stalls and herbal medicine stalls on Jalan Budi Mulia, Jalan Pademangan VII, and Jalan Pesanggrahan.
"They (sellers) are illegal of course. I hope it can deter them to stop sell liquor. Let's maintain peace and public order," he explained.
The liquor operation above received support from Pademangan Sub-district Head, Didit Mulyadi.
"The Pademangan area must be safe, orderly, and have good morals, especially in this month of Ramadan, which is a month that is holy and full of blessings, it must be filled with positive activities," he asserted.
